It was really exciting to be part of the first Dublin Coffee & Tea Festival, which took place the 12-14th of September 2014. There was a great sense of community at the festival. We were impressed at how so many of the Irish coffee and tea companies really made a huge effort to make the festival so welcoming and fun!
Bewley’s sponsored a stage outside with various bands playing through out the weekend. Given the beautiful weather, it really brought the festival element to the show.
If this was the first coffee festival, we can only imagine what lies ahead for the future coffee scene in Dublin. We really enjoyed seeing some old friends and making new ones.
Congrats to all the competitors and winners of the Latte, Barista and Brewer competitions.
We had such a fabulous time, it makes us excited for the World Barista Championship in 2016. Not that we want to fast forward time, but bring on the 2016 WBC!
